Yep – I’m WAY early on this one! But in my defense, I already know one other bride who’s going to use this – my soon-to-be sister-in-law! My brother is getting married in September, and his fiance loved the idea of a wedding day survival kit when I suggested it. So I just finished getting it all put together.

Here’s what I included:

  • hairspray
  • static guard
  • nail polish remover
  • q-tips
  • cotton balls
  • eyedrops
  • bandaids
  • aspirin
  • safety pins
  • Febreeze
  • lens cleaner
  • hand sanitizer
  • toothpaste/wisp brushes
  • clear fingernail polish
  • nail file
  • fingernail clipper
  • deoderant
  • dental floss
  • tweezers
  • aloe vera
  • lip balm
  • tampons
  • lotion
  • baby powder
  • comb
  • bobby pins
  • scissors
  • Tide to go
  • lint roller
  • make-up removing towelettes
  • kleenex
  • chlorox wipes
  • mouthwash
  • mousse
  • contact solution
  • tums
  • pens
  • tape
  • post-its
  • mirror
I made sure to keep the list of items included right at the top of the box. No, the box isn’t that big – but I don’t want anyone to waste time wondering whether or not something is included. If I didn’t put it in there, they can quickly scan the list and run to get it if need be.

I was lucky and had a container here at home that worked perfectly. But, if you need to purchase one, here’s one I think would be perfect!

Or maybe you want to save yourself a few steps. How about this pre-made survival kit? It’s less personal and doesn’t contain quite as much, but it’ll be easier to “assemble” and smaller to transport.
I think I got it all covered (other than chocolate!). Let me know if there’s anything else I could/should add. I know my sister-in-law will be using this, and then I’ll use it. However, a third wedding will be happening in the family as well! =) The Soon-to-be hub’s brother will get married, so I’ll offer this to his wife if she wants it (although I don’t want to step on her maid/matron of honor’s toes). And then there’s still another two siblings to marry off (which we anticipate happening sooner than later). This container could get plenty of use…

Need a different shower idea? How about this cute DIY marriage survival kit! It pairs well with a gift card or cash, but still lets you stand out from the crowd. =)

Thanks for stopping by.

I made one of these for my best friend when she was getting married. It was nice because we all were able to use the things in it.

This is a great idea! I could have used one of these on my wedding day!

My daughter got married last year and I wish I would have thought to throw one of these together. I had all these things in my purse but it would have been so much more fun if I had a special bag just for her. Well, my second daughter is in luck!

You thought of everything! Well done. I really hope she doesn't need the tampon on her wedding day though. LOL. Thanks for linking up!
