All Natural Hair Gel

April 10, 2017

When I made the switch to all natural hair products, it took awhile to get the shampoo right. When I finally did, my hair was soft, curly, and super fluffy – or frizzy! That is NOT what a curly hair girl wants! So I knew I had to do something about it, but I didn’t know what to do. That’s where my all natural hair gel came into play!

It took a few tries to get it right, but now I am loving my hair – and I get many compliments on it as well! This used to happen to me all the time back when I was using chemical products, but those compliments had mostly stopped when I went natural. GAH! Getting these compliments on my hair again has given me new confidence. 🙂 (And it’s also told me I’m on the right track with this whole natural living thing!!)

If you're on the lookout for an all natural hair gel that you can create in minutes in your own home, you'll love this one! With just a few ingredients, you'll have soft, touchable, manageable hair in no time! Click through to learn more.

What’s all included in my all natural hair gel, you ask?

Let me tell you, my friends, it’s SUPER easy!If you're on the lookout for an all natural hair gel that you can create in minutes in your own home, you'll love this one! With just a few ingredients, you'll have soft, touchable, manageable hair in no time! Click through to learn more.

Grab a glass pump. I like this 8 ounce option. Now fill it with about six ounces of water, one Tablespoon of aloe vera juice, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Knox gelatin (more means a stronger hold), and then add any essential oils of your choice. I tend to add about 20 drops. And I only use my favorite, high quality brand.

Once you have them all in the pump, give it a good shake, and you’re all set! You’ll have a great, all natural hair gel that works great and leaves your hair smelling like your favorite essential oils!

I do find that I need to shake my hair gel each time I use it, but that could be because I only use it 3-4 times per week. Regardless, I am loving this all natural hair gel! My hair is soft, manageable, and looks great – if I do say so myself. 😉
