It’s been a long, hard day. You’re wanting to relax and unwind. A day at the spa sounds amazing – but, let’s face it – that’s expensive. How about creating this easy DIY lavender sugar scrub? It’s a quick, easy treat that allows you to pamper yourself at home for just a few bucks.

Grab your ingredients:
- glass container
- sugar to fill 2/3 of the container
- coconut oil to fill rest of container (Here is the kind I buy.)
- 10-3o drops of lavender essential oil (I only use this brand!)
When I make my mix, I use an old alfredo sauce container, 2 cups of sugar, one cup of coconut oil, and 20 drops of lavender essential oil. How much you decide to use will be up to you and the container you choose.
One word of caution, this mixture can make the tub very slippery – so be very careful!
After you’ve given this a try for yourself, you’ll find that you love it so much – you’ll want to share it with others! That’s precisely why I created this little tag.
It prints off as approximately 3×4 inches, so it’ll work for most of the jars you’re going to put this amazing DIY Lavender Sugar Scrub into. Make your recipe, print your tag, fix it onto the container, add some ribbon (if you’d like), and give it as a gift!
The calming effects of the lavender essential oil make this an especially great spa-like experience to give yourself before bed. Use it weekly to eliminate rough skin, relax, and unwind!

What a great scrub! I’m sure you could easily transition this to use with a lighter oil for face scrubbing as well. Thanks, Heather!
