DIY Lodging Cost “Tents”

We have been fortunate that there is enough lodging in the small town our wedding is in. Actually the hotel has two locations AND there is a lodge where a large majority of my family is staying for the weekend.

However, I’ve been to weddings before where one large group is staying at a bed and breakfast or lodge of some sort, and I have often felt like it’s awkward figuring out how to pay. One time the bride’s parents took care of everything and we didn’t have to worry about it (yea! but out of our budget). On another occasion the cost was double what was quoted to us on the phone. How could we fix this so our wedding guests didn’t have the same issue?

We decided to make these simply little “tents” to go on the pillows in each room.

The guests know exactly how much to pay and to what person. I am going to give this person a list of who is staying and how many nights so they can keep track of all the money. That way on Sunday when we have to pay, all we do is simply hand over the money!

Just like the other day, we simply used scrap paper that way around from other projects and products similar to this one.

Thanks for looking!
